I have used 300 grain TSX pills in my old 375 H&H @ 2660 fps. They only penetrate the same as the 350 grain Woodliegh PP on pigs, about 30".

My 404 will put a 400 grain Hydro almost the full length of a mature Cape Buff.

To me there is no comparison.

The TSX is a very very good EXPANDING bullet.If you want to run solids for no other reason than hunting in thick brush like Gryphon with Sambar or myself with Buff in Africa than the Hydro's are in my opinion the pick of the bunch.
