470Nitro Become you actually book anything either post who they are here or drop me a PM/email. Also once you define more what exactly you want to hunt, how, where and how long, discuss it here or again PM etc. "Hunting Australia" is like hunting Africa or hunting Europe. Long distances and lots of different places. Pretty hard to do it all so some choices must be made. *** If hunting Australia, this is what I would recommend hunting: Water buffalo, feral pigs in the NT, maybe scrub bull; If you have the money available I would add banteng and sambar deer if you can get onto them; If you don't get onto sambar in the NT, I would see if an outfitter could do a good sambar hunt in the Victoria Alps. This will be real hunting. Maybe hog deer in Gippsland for a few days if the right time of the year. You could consider doing a feral hunt in Western NSW or South West Queensland for goats and pigs plus maybe some roos under permit. You would have a chance at pigs in the NT but this is a "traditional" Aussie hunt. Not high class but usually relatively cheap and the ability to shoot lots of game is enjoyed by many visitors. The only place you can hunt/shoot roos is Australia so why not. I just discussed today some options in exporting them and will look at this seriously.. Axis or Chital deer in Northern Queensland. I would consider New Calendonia (in the South Pacific) for a world class Rusa deer. New Zealand for chamois and tahr, maybe sika deer. Sambar can also be hunted in North Island NZ and the free range hunts 'seem' to have a higher chance of success there. There are numerous other game animals.Such as fallow and reds, but you can hunt these at home. I think I posted a list on another forum and I will copy that to a new thread here for your (and others) use. Now I have helped you spend several months in the South Pacific and thousands of dollars . I'd love to catch up with you when you are here, I'm sending you a PM. |
