Re: Victorian rabbits.

G'Day fella's,

Gryphon, that image Made My Day!
Every time I see a Road Kill Bunny I think, Oh what a waste!

Fella's I have traveled to most parts of the South Pacific hunting all kinds a critters but bunny's still get my heart racing!!!
Shotgunning them as you walk them up or spotlighting them, .22 or .222/.223(doing the same) or setting my portable bench rest up at long range with my switch barrel .22-250AI live varmint rifle.
Bustin Bunny's, is still some of the best days Huntin or Shootin to be had!

There used to be a property on the shores of Lake Eucumbene, opposite Buckenderra called "Deeban".
This property had a Off-Site Manager and a good mate of mine from up that way (Dynamite Dave), knew the manager and got us onto Deeban. This was back quite a few years ago, prior to the introduction of Caleci(?) Virus. Any way the last two times we visited Deeban, Five of us shooting 12 gauge seed guns shot over 1500 odd rabbits on one weekend (Friday night, Sat, Sat night and Sun)! We went back there one month later and shot 1053 more rabbits!!!
Oh for the "Good Old Deeban Days"

So come on Bunny's, breed up for Hommer! Please!!!

(Edit by Hommer, I personally don't believe a reasonable number of managed (read, regularly shot)rabbits, cause any more damage that a herd of poorly manages stock animals.)
