Thanks guys, I will have to upload some more photos to photobucket on my old computer... regarding the Lee enfield stock - the top part of the buttstock is actually issue, but it may look lowered because of what has been done to the bottom to make it look more 'sportered'. The Lee stocks are perfectly set up heightwise for open sights - as you would expect, but too lowfor a scope. I enjoy shooting over open sights, being a simple man. Yes, the sandflies in the south island can be a bit of a trial, although they are better than mosquito's...they are one of the reasons I am sure the Japanese havnt opened holiday resorts on the side of some of these rivers - so they are important, and we have to thank them otherwise CLub Med would be mucking with my hunting....
