Truth is that it is protectionism and moribund stupidity plain and simple. They are of course a huge readily available proetin source even if they were used for stock feed or UN food aid.BUT there is a vested interest from the commercial fishing sector etc etc
By the same token, (a different horse out of the same stable so to speak): all greenies should wear Australian fox fur coats, but they don't do they?
