Our shooting organisations had it IN WRITING that there would be no major changes to gun-law policy without consultation.

The consultation - when it came - took the form of "This is what we are going to do, Like it or lump it."

We also had to put up with that useless arrogant "Two-Timing Tim" Fischer (who happened to be my local member) telling us to shut up or we'd lose everything.

In spite of that, the SSAA did a bloody lot of work, are still working,,,, and are one of the main reasons why you can still have ANY pistols AT ALL! In case you hadn't realised.. John Howard hates guns and does not want us to have ANY guns for recreational use. We have documentary evidence to the point that he was prepared to blackmail the states into following his personal prejudice.
