Yeah Bakes snakes are everywhere down here too. Though not as dangerous as those buggers.
Was out last monday morning lookin for rusa and i encountered not 1 but 3 red belly blacks. The 'biggest' was as thick as my forearm and i met him whilst i was on my hand and knees crawling along a trail through lantana.

needless to say i went backwards in a hurry.
