This news item was in our local paper about a week before my brother and I went barra fishing in the Gulf. On one lagoon near the coast there was a mob of about 50 pigs, we stopped about 80 meters from them and they didn't even bother to stop digging in the mud. This is besides the ones we saw on the way to the creek we fished at. Every waterhole is churned up from these animals. There's probably enough pigs out there to hold this type of culling exercise most weekends. Strangely there's no bounty on them. |
