JG,
They claim on the page spotlighting of the game animal sambar deer is legal on private property. I thought it was illegal to spotlight, unless a control permit was obtained?

It is legal IF you subscribe to the regulations as land owner and permitted shooter.
Amazing how so many deer are taken these days by people that have hunted for years for nothing.
The regs were brought in to calm land owners down and its now used as an excuse to shoot stags.....legally,hmmm!

And no doubt all of those stags are claimed to be trophies and many without mentioning shot by spotlight. The way those great big stags are taken so easiky by some.

I am staggered that such a group exists so openly and blatantly, notice that most members seem to be very young. Unfortunately a product of today's lazy society where people take the easiest route possible and then claim some sort of achievement. Very disturbing.

Hi! my first post outside of intros, had to say something here, what a pack of morons, people like this give legitimate hunters a bad name, I just had a scroll though the first page and they were bagging out stalkers and hound hunters WTF? At least stalkers and hound hunters have ethical standards and a code of practice, there were also a couple of mentions of how the deer were not found until the next day, how many don't get found?

agreed! I have been into fishing all my life and see the same thing, I like fly fishing, but am not a snob about it, will spin and bait fish too, but I never take more than what I can use immediately, the rest go back, there are some people who have to take as many fish as they can regardless of size etc, I look at this the same way,I wouldn't have a problem if they were just taking a yearling to fill the freezer and nothing more, not my cup of tea, but wouldn't have a problem, but that doesn't seem to be the case here, zero skill and zero morality.
