allready ended but interesting and rare
a Drlling in 8x57IR 16/70 16/70 with hercules action "Chr. Hansen vorm Frank" on the gun but no doubt made by August Schüler/Suhl http://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=4438130
sold for 2319 euro today what is very much worth the money

I like Schüler's cartridges but not the Herkules action . It's may be a strong action , but rough and unesthetic . A little bit "Teutonisch" !

I really like these actions - I'd really like to have one.
That checkering is tragic, but the drilling is fantastic.

yes, the checkering is a mystery and the action itself is not a beauty but the drilling itself is very desirable if you collect different action's.

it is about as wide as a kersten action--OK with me as long as it is 16 ga or under...reminds me of a Vierordt double rifle i once owned. Steve
