Take a youth hunting..buy them a gun.. :)

I met this young lad when he was about 2 years old. His family are hunters which is how I really met them. Have stayed at their home for years in the fall hunting mule deer. Bought him his first shotgun..took him with me bowhunting and for a hight school graduation present got him a Sako stainless in 300 W Mag.

He texted this photo to me yesterday thanking me for the rifle.. His words were "hey the rifle got the job done this morning. Een took a girl on a date the other day and she was able to handle it. Cant thank you enough for such a great weapon".

If it sounds like I am proud of him, I am. He is a great guy, getting it done in college, paying for it himself and works hard during the summer to stay on top of it. Amazing how life unfolds and the influences we have in life. In this case, pretty sure it went both ways.

And he is not such a little guy anymore--6'4 and 210...
