Those are some deer I guided:

This one is one of the axis deers I hunted.

Hope you like them.

The Axis (Chital?) deer really are a pretty deer. Very nice ones there.
Out of curiosity, what are the native deer down there? If I remember correct, whitetail range fairly far into South America, do they get down that far?

I love the Chital deer. They are nice and alert in the wild and a respectable trophy and probably the most beautiful deer in existence.

I would love to have some in my deer paddocks, but alas probably too small to add too many species.

Thank you very much for your comments.
450 Express,
We have manage to put most native deer in endangered position.
When it was a spanish colony we had 4 native deers, ciervo de las pampas(pampas deer), ciervo de los pantanos (swamp deer), corzuelas (brocket deer) and the pudu.
Only brocket deer can be legally hunted.
Other deers you can hunt are exotics.
Axis deer and blackbuck fron India.
Red Deer from Europe and NZ.
Fallow deer from Europe.

I manage and guide in a little hunting ranch close home for 12 years.
My great gan father took axis deers many years ago and after some years I get some blackbucks to complete the picture.

Thanks
Martin

PS: I change the subject so they are indeed exotic deers.

I agree with NitroX. The Axis Deer is simply stunning. Oh, nice trophies by the way.
