What happened to Schwandt Classic Arms
      #351746 - 26/03/21 09:09 AM

The website for Schwandt Classic arms is down, does anyone have details ? They had some really nice vintage Mauser Sporting rifles on there website. Curious if they are still in business or folded up shop ?

Thanks

Their website seems to be down, but they are advertising quite a number of guns on gunsinternation.com. I hope their website returns. They sold other interesting items, besides guns.

I bought some .303 ammo from them within the past month.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. I might email them to see if they are planning to reboot the website sometime soon.

They had some detailed pictures of vintage mauser sporting rifles on the site. I had intended to save the pictures to my flash drive for reference, and just because they were nice quality.

Have to save the nice pictures when you can. With websites up and down, Photobucket and Imgur unpredictable....you never know when stuff will just disappear!

Go to https://archive.org/web/web.php, enter Schwandt's website address and likely will be able to pull up a past website.

I gave the website archive a try. Could get the old website to pull up, but not the nice pictures.

His website crashed hard. He’s had it rebuilt but there’s been some technical issues with getting it back to where it was while also updating to modern standards. A great collection of virtual pics with many super rifles and guns that have passed through his hands I hope aren’t lost.
