Very different from what he usually shares pictures of, but no less spectacular:

An early commercial Flatside made in 1900 in 99% original condition with all matching numbers including grips & tangent sight. The bore is just like new. I doubt if it's had a dozen rounds put through it. Hard to find them like this anymore. Complete with period English style holster.

Yeah - nice - always liked the Broomhandle Mausers. Fun to shoot, too. Seems to me, decent speed as well.

- I sold 1/2 dozen of the Artillery models when I worked in a gun shop in Vancouver - decades ago - I think about all had wooden holsters that snapped onto the back strap to become shoulder stocks.

in the last century when we were able here to shoot on the military range in the neighborhood( its not possible anymore) they had a special range with hundreds of silhouhette targets at 50,100,150 and 200 meter. all coming up automatically when you push the button. C 96 and the long Artillery Luger with shoulder stock got them all up to 200 meter it was realy not a problem to hit it. closest thing to a submachine gun you can have than.
thinking I becoming to old now for such stuff

I remember being about 15, and helping my father in his gunsmithing shop. He handed me a Broom Handle and asked me to take it apart. He sat there in pure enjoyment while I scratched my head, examining how best to go about it. After he tortured me with it awhile I heard him call out, "There aren't any screws or pins are there"! He later showed me how simple it was. Ever since, Broom Handles have always held a special place in my heart!
