Dorleac 404 Jeffery Rifle Being Built

Build pics this time, courtesy M Joel Dorleac. This, of course, is an opening salvo. Do enjoy these pics as the rifle gets completed and I receive more pics leading up to this beauty's completion.

wow lovely, but one visit into the Jungles or the Bush and it will come out looking totally different

Oberndorf Mauser with a square bridge on the front ring only?
Never seen that before.

I think you are thinking rear square bridge on the Rigbys.
Many of the 350 Rigbys had the rear square bridge and a flat machined into the barrel for the front scope mount. Just about all of the 416 Rigbys were rear square bridge, and some had a standard type magnum action with rounded tops on front and rear. I think a few may have been built with the double square bridge, but not many.

You are correct of course btw I was responding to SSB without thought of where it was on the action. Those I have seen were Warren Anderson's plus a few others. From memory his were Rigby 350 magnum express converted to 375 Holland as were the others bar one.
