M-S Flip-Up Tang Sight Insert?

Folks,

Does somebody have a nice set of photos of the peep insert that clips onto the flip-up tang sight on the M-S (see photo)? I was hoping to locate an original one, but due to a lack of parts out there, looks like I'll have to have one fabricated.

Could somebody help me with this by removing it and taking a bunch of high quality photos of it from all angles. I've done a bit of research on the web, but can only find photos of it as attached to the tang sight. I've attached a close photo I found on the web of the part I need as installed.

Also, if there are any additional parts that go with it that are not visiable on the photo, could you take some photos of those as well? My sight is bare, so I really don't know what comes with it.

I bought one as a spare awhile back off of ebay. Might not be an MS one but looks close.

Hi Casper50,

I'm looking for sight piece that slides down and clips into the groove on the back of the tang sight. If you have one as a spare, would you mind parting with one?

How does it compare to the one in the photo? That is the exact type I have.

Ya, even though it is the same type, that sight looks a fair bit different from mine and doesn't have the part I need.

Based on the number of photos posted by Mannlicher owners posting photos of their pet rifles with that exact type of sight, I was hoping that one would come forward and offer me a bit of help.

Hello all you readers out there, I'm still hoping that one of you with a pop up tang sight would remove the small clip on peep insert and take a few photos of it from different sides and angles so I can try and make one up.
