Lee Enfield Gentleman's rifle
      13/03/13 09:16 PM

I am new to this so please forgive any newbie mistakes.

I have a couple of older rifles, a Husqvarna 648 (1946) and a 10.75x68 trade rifle circa 1926. But I have this desire to build a pseudo gentleman's rifle based on a Lee Enfield action. I have acquired a Long Branch No 4 Mk1 'sporter' missing a bolt, rear sight etc; a 6.5 mm barrel blank and some RWS 6.5x57R cases (I know it should be 256 Mannlicher but the 6.5x57R is too good, and easy to pass up).

Any thoughts on how this should finish up would be appreciated; well at least, respected.

Regards,

Murray
