I had heard that after the later part of this year a price increase of 20% will be put forth. I had called the folks in New York and they neither denied or acknowledged any such increase. I assume that guns like these will continue to rise in production price, 20% at a time seems a tad hi. They way our country is headed you never know. Gorgeous rifle.

I thought this one was exceptional as well. I prefer the standard H&H pattern on there doubles, and the wood on this one is KILLER! Maybe I can talk them down on price .00001%?

It is lovely. Of course, given the way the dollar is sinking these days, the time of 'affordable' DRs on the American market may be a thing of the past. Dave
