Verney-Carron 600NE - made to my specifications including the elephant engraving for which I submitted a photo which was captured better than I imagined it would be.
26" barrels
Intercepting sears/stalking safety
Flip over night bead
Grip cap resevoir
Few other doodads that I can't remember at the moment
13.25 pounds

Heads with me and my father to Namibia for elephant this coming November.

From which manufacturer are the brass bullets with the truncated cones (one solid, one hollow point)in the picture with the two cartridges standing upright?

Thank you Rolf (and all) for the generous compliments and kind words.

Those bullets are a relatively new design made by Cutting Edge Bullets in the US. 900 grain solids and 825 grain hollow-points. The latter are designed to cause dramatic tissue damage as the nose expands but also to have deep penetration as the main shaft continues onwards. Tests in artificial media as well as field tests are very positive so far.
