"New" forum for Double Rifles

The Double Rifles forum is undergoing some slight changes.

As part of a revamp of the NitroExpress.com forums there will be some changes to the forums structure including a re-emphasis on Double rifles, single shots, big bores and reloading for them.

The double rifle threads on the "Big Bore" forum will be shifted over, over the next few days. The old forum had the code 'bigbores' so it is neater to create a new double rifle forum instead of a new big bore forum. Please be patient while the changes are made.

Nitro, is that why I can't access some files? I forget which one, but I get that infernal message that says "this page is no longer available."

It probably means you tried to access it at the same time it was being moved. Please try again. It should be re-indexed now. Otherwise I will go to the database and re-index.

If anyone is looking for a particular thread on Double rifles and you can't see it here, try the Big Bores forum as it probably won't have been shifted yet.

Post away as normal as the whole threads are shifted including any replies.

I appreciate the invite more than you know!

I am sorry to have to pass at this time. I've even had to cancel my safari at Longido, Tanz in Sept...and all other plans for this year.

I've spent much of my time since last Friday attending to my wife...in and out of hospital. She appears to have some not too good ticker problems, and I need to stick close to home for now.

I want to extend my gratitude to you and to gryphon for the kind invitations I have recerved. I had already been making tentative plans for both of your hunts and even called my travel agent regarding connections; I was that excited.

First things first, however...took too long to find a good old hide who would put up with my meanderings all over Africa & N. America these last 16 years.
