Cracked Stock Repair.

I got a crack in wrist of my .577 BPE today.

Who knows someone who can repair it and not charge an arm and leg, or take the next 5 years.

David Trevallion can fix it. How much it will cost and how long it will take - dunno.

Trevallion is very expensive and doesn't usually take jobs like that. I would recommend David Yale in Delta Colorado. He is very good and very reasonable on time and pricing. Master gunsmith for over 35+ years.

Paul Fitzgerald Middlesex Vt 802-223-4873 does wonders with cracked and damaged stocks...good luck with the old girl

Fixing damanged and busted stocks is about all John Garvin does. He's a super nice guy as well and has guns coming it to him from all over the country. Check out his website:

I got my .577 BPE back repaired and ready to shoot. A fine gentleman, who wants to remain anonymous, fixed it for me. He also stripped the polyurethane and applied a London finish. I'll be rubbing it to a smooth finish over the next few months.

Not many .577 express rifles from the black powder remain. We have to insure they survive.
