Relay a rib?

Has any one on here re-layed rib on a SXS ML, smooth bore? English made, Laminated twist barrels. The barrels will need completely separated, cleaned, and resoldered. any advice except "DONT" ????

Didn't Colon Stoltz picture his rib laying on that 2-bore he built?
I tried searching for it, without any luck.
