Looking for a very good home for this hard-to-find No. 1 in .450-400. The rifle is in excellent condition with a couple of small scratches in the butt. Nice wood, and I had a gunsmith replace the worthless Ruger factory recoil pad with a Pachmayr "Old English" Decelerator. The rifle comes with a pair of medium 30mm Ruger scope rings. This classic British caliber is at home anywhere in the world, and of course, Africa. With the rifle also comes a set of Hornady dies and 60 once or twice-fired Hornady cases as well as most of a box of Hornady .411 300-grain soft points and a couple of dozen 355-grain cast, gas-checked bullets.
Asking $1900 plus shipping for all, or $1700 plus shipping for just the rifle, and I sell the dies, brass and bullets separately. (The components are currently hard to find.) Can meet FTF within reasonable distance of Sweetwater/Abilene and buyer saves the shipping, which I would estimate at $70.

Oh good, I won't have to send back the Barnes Bullets I got from Bill for my Ruger #1 450/400.

I really like my Gun, it is in the "do not sell" section of my Gun Safe.

Bill has the cases and bullets still available because he said the buyer did not reload.
