.500ex or 577ex DR Wanted.

I am in the marked for a BPE doublerifle in .500ex or .577ex

I am looking a speciem that must have steel barrels, reboundinghammers, jones underlever.
-- Minimum 26" barrels
-- Proofs after 1887
-- Sharp defined rifling.
-- Locks up tight
-- No visible pitting in the bore/barrel.

General comments:

I am not a collector and therefore the gun doesn´t have to be a 100% original condition.
A restored, restocked is fine if done to original specs/looks.
It doesn´t have to be a topmaker name, but everything is considered.

The .500ex prefered is 3,25" or .577/500 magnum. A 3" would also be considered.
The 577ex a 3" is prefered(or 3,25")

I have 2 Alex Henry 577/500 3 1/8" Magnums but they are prior to the 1887 proof mark. And Damascus tubes.

The search is over!!.

I have now recieved an generous offer regarding a .500ex from H&H I can not turn down.

I appreciate to all who have contacted me in my search.

Once the deal is in place(money recieved by seller) I will reveal my purchase...:-)
