I know it would not be original but try going on the practical machinist site there's a bunch of guys into micro machining and most are gun friendly

Not sure were the moon mountains are but if your in the states you might try the Dow arms room in Dade city fla Bruce Dow is a quite competent machinist and gunsmith.and would know what your talking about.
