Johan just sent me these pictures of a Husqvarna shotgun that he is restoring: Link to his Picasa Page.

He should post more details shortly.

Good hunting, everyone!

Hallo my friend

My page is in Icelandic so I explane a little bit . I restore this gun about ten years ago make a new stok and bluing and thight together the barrel and action (jogging) But last year the owner felt on ice block and broke the stock ,so I make a new one for him. I learn to make stock and have a diploma from the school in Liege where I was learning gunsmithing 15 years ago. I was in the gunsmiting course on the day time and stock making and engraving on the evening.A old gunsmit give my many of his old tools and I use them and use this old tecnik I learn over there. I not make so many stock now it take a long time, Some of my friend from the school have go over to England and work there for Holland & Holland Westley and other company, two of them are now opening workshop near London to make guns in withe for the big names in this trade.

Thanks Johann

The action on your picasa page labeled "Sveins stykki" is interesting.
What is it?

Huvius

Ok Sveinsstykk is a Icelandic word for the thing you make for gradualy in the school , I make this riffli in the school in Liege and on this time we use for the base a old stuff from FN in Herstal , Marchel Thys one of my teatchers have bay all the old stock from them and make express riffle and shootguns from this parts.
This is Anson action same for cal. 16 and 20 but we change the hammers ang firing pin and make the action more strong. Of cause this parts was new not make from old gun. We put this to gether and make all the parts and hardnering them and now it is in engraving in Liege. I think it is some picture of this riffle in my old weppage www.byssa.is.
Thanks Johann
