I know very little about it , what little I have heard is that it originated in SA , and is very popular there , it is a 3" case , and is rimmed , matches the Ackley in performance .. i.e. 2400~ with a 500 grain bullet ..
I know someone who has a reamer for the 458 No2 ( an improved version ?? ) , that I'm trying to con them out of ..They state the head is approximately .533" ..

What I'd like to know is who the parent case is ??

And only being slighty longer than the Lott , I am thinking , cleaning up the Lott chamber with this reamer shud be pretty strait forward job , and wud think that it shudnt be a problem using that action ..

Am I right or wrong ??
