A friend of mine in the U.S. is a government trapper. Several years ago he built a bunch of spring arm snares for capturing and studying lions in "Africa" . The fellow who he built the snares for was Darren Simpson. The snares he built are leg catch snares modified from snares used to catch bears. The wildlife guys like these snares becaus the animal can be sedated and worked on then released with out har to the animal.

My friend wanted to hear how the snares worked on lion and was looking for Simpson. Anybody heard of Darren Simpson or his lion capture project?
