The vintage safari "brake" or car

Does anyone modify modern 4WD's into these sorts of vintage classy safari cars?

Instead most "bakkies" seem to be designed with 4WD utilities with the high shooting seat and shooting frame on the cargo area in the back. Not classy and not sporting at all in my opinion.

The old "safari car" was designed to allow quick exit to hunt and stalk on foot. East African rules forbidding shooting within 200 yards of a vehicle (or something like that).

But this discussion is more about these old vintage styled modified vehicles. I think they would be fantastic today with a modern vehicle modified in this way.
