I used 70 grains of H4831 and a 220 grain bullet in mine.
I don't have it any more, and I am sorry I sold it.

I've been using the loading data, such that it is, from the Hodgdon manual. The one I'm shooting now is:

Case: Norma
Primer: CCI LRM
Bullet: Sierra 200gr GK
Powder: Hodgdon 4831SC, 72gr

This is a max load in their book. So far, I've only put a few rounds through my rifle (pre-64 M70) with it but it looks to be an accurate load. I'm waiting for the weather to warm up a little to chronograph it.

My old "scotlandlandload" was 72grain Norma MRP...Winchester brass...Fed215 Primer....200grain nosler partition and later Accubond.

I use 180 A-Frame for moose and it's driven by a max load of H4831. Another favorite is a 200 gr Accubond and I use H4831 for it too. I say max load because there is a 3 gr difference in the usable max load between my two rifles of this caliber. Actually the other one thinks that Hodgdon's max load is a bit too stiff for it.

This cartridge is amazing as it seems to like also the H4350, Norma URP and similar powders usually found in .30-06 loads. So far I have achieved a bit better accuracy with these and also less muzzle blast. Since most of these loads can not be found in load data tables, I have to try out more combinations before I will make a more permanent shift to these powders.
