Thank you!

The Chinese make medicine out of anything up to cave bat guano. Hymalayan bear ball gladder is valued for medical powers, but thankfully its price is nowhere near rhino horn, and generally doesn't justify the risk of poaching one. Or so I was told.

this guys use realy everything on feets exept tables

found this map on wikipedia showing the dispersal area of the asian black bear

Asian Black Bear (Ursus thibetanus) range (brown - extant, black - extinct, dark grey - presence uncertain)

and of course it was or is also in the chinese mainland. some kind of bear must be living there and this is not the european brown.
surprising the himalayan bear live in the south of iran, to my knowledge a absolute hot and deserted area.

seems the amur leopard is NOT a target of the yellow chemists but maybe the bones were sold as tiger parts to greenhorns in the past.

Does anybody know how they hunt the Brown bears there. Is it a traditional foot/stalking hunt, done with dogs, bait etc?

Baiting, mostly.

Vegetation is too thick for spot and stalk.

My editor and friend Mikhail Krechmar once sat for a brown bear with a client over a dead bullock. They picked up a good spot, well concealed and overlooking every way of approaching the bait. They stalked the blind really quiet, and sat there even quieter. When dusk was setting in, a Himalayan showed up at the bait. Then the brown gave his warning roar - some 20 meters behind them. He, too, also thought it was a great place to watch over the bait...

(they got the bear. It was 2.8 meter iirc).

That would have been an experience.
