The ultimate survival rifle?
      17/04/09 06:31 AM

Someone a while back asked for suggestions for a survival weapon. I stumbled across this one today.
http://www.egun.de/market/item.php?id=2217630

It is a hammer drilling in caliber .410/.410/.22 Hornet, like the Air Force survival gun, except more so. I'll be interested to see what it goes for.

The text reads:

I offer a drilling HE 1831 in caliber .22 Hornet + 2X .410 shot. The weapon comes from the estate of a hunter. The action is engraved. It is equipped with a Hensholdt, Wetzlar, 4X32 Diasta telescopic sight. The reticle consists of two horizontal posts and a vertical pointed aiming post. The technical condition is good, the barrels are bright.

The switch from shot to bullet is accomplished by means of a little lever on the right hammer.

The shotshell chambers measure 72mm from the rear of the barrel to the beginning of the forcing cone. The barrels are 595mm long and the weight, including scope and sling, is 2990 grams.
