I have seen similar thingy for sale in sweden. Ugly as hell but probably quite usefull.

Not as ugly as you may think. However have a solid universal mounting platform for a drilling the main goal and that has been achieved.

Handy idea ,i have a Sauer 3000 really quite a good gun![dont make the drillings anymore as far as i know ]
