10 bore Manton Video.

A friend of mine named Jacob wanted to shoot a few shots with the Manton.

Load is 10dram Swiss 1½fg to a 985grain ball. It has been awhile since I have shot it and I must admit I had forgot how much huff & puff a full 10dram load produce. The gun weighs 14ibs and the velocity is +1700 ft/sec last time I recorded the muzzle velocity with same load.
It packs...

you friend have good nerves, doesn't seems to be impressed by the recoil

..well I did ask if he wanted some more shots...and eventually two shots WAS enough..:LOL

273.5 actual gr. for 10 drams of powder, a decent load!
I am assuming it is "conical ball" you are shooting. 1,700fps is very good.
