No - not my kill. Check out the size of his head in relation to the hunter's chest. Nice wolf - good wolf!

Too bad the photo doesn't show the teeth - they are REALLY impressive first hand when something recognizable for size is near by - like a Bick lighter!
The head seems normal to me. Good distance between the ears, eh?

agree---thats what made me think he was older..but I have NOT seen that many --and have only killed one..

wow, what an impressive animal. you can make some money off wolf pelts too, last year, I was at a city wide yard sale in my town and a fella had a nice timber wolf hide for sale. I asked how much, and unfortunately he knew what it was worth. I negotiated down to about 350$ for the pelt and sold it for 450$ not bad for a day at the city wide yard sale.
