Rigby cocking peep sight

Does anyone know when Rigby first started fitting cocking piece peep sights to mausers
I have checked the patents in the British Gunmakers 3 volumes and can't see any reference to Rigby but
L Taylor ( Westley Richards ) is mentioned with several patents to his name regarding apature sights
