Here is e Mauser Mosel M made in 1914!

The caliber is 8x57I

I found the rifle 2 years ago in a gunshop here in Denmark. laying in a pile of "junkers".
Price: $200

That's a real classic alright! Love the Mannlicher-stocked carbines, so damn cute! What is written down the left side of the action?

Unfuknbelievable! Suppose he had to make room on the display rack for more stainless-synthetic super-short ultra-mags, so those old blued/timber relics get chucked aside!

Good pick-up at $200! Congratulations!


BTW, we're all wondering about the pile of dirty undies on the lounge chair..........

This model is also pictured in Jon Speeds book.
I have been guncollecting in many years now, and that was my first "catch" where I have been lucky.

Your are very right Mr Marakai...all the modern "junk" was on the shelfs in that gunshop.
