First try german 8x57 IS clips. Both cases (8x56 MS and 8x57 IS) have very nearly same dimensions. Because those Mannlicher calibers (8x56, 9x56, 9,5x57) are made for civil purposes only, I´m not sure if there is any special clips for them.

I've used .308, ie: 7.62x51 stripper clips in just about all my iron sighted Mausers before the addition of a scope.

There were couple that were a little tight on the the 8x57 or 7x57 ammo, so I used 6.5x55 stipper clips and they worked just fine.
