Steyer 1950's question
      05/10/11 10:20 AM

In the past week I have seen two Steyers (one imported by Stoeger) with Redfield mounts made specifically for that rifle. The other was on Cabelas.
One rifle also had the stock relieved for a side mounted base(which wasn't present - just a sliver of wood alongside the action was missing.) Silly question, but were those guns drilled for the top mounts as well (redfield) as the holes would go through the insignia on the front reciever ring.

Thanks

Tom
