Best Lion Charge filmed I've seen.

I finally found it after 3 years searching! First its not that stupid canned Lion hunt everybody has seen. Its part of an adventure movie made by Ronald "Don" Shanin called "African Safari", released in 1964. The sequence is real, and he is charged by a scraggy goat killer male from about 30 yards or so. He fires three shots from a bolt gun, looks like a Pre-64 Model 70. The lion is jinking as he fires and he nails it on the third shot, hitting the spine. He is knocked over by the lion which dies on top of him. You can see him actually get flattened by the lion. I, personally would have crapped myself on this one.

Google Indian Paint African Safari to find it....its a double feature DVD.

No youboob that I've seen. I Netflixed it and we watched it last night. My 6 year old African hunting fanatic son, who BTW can name every animal on license available, loved it.

You might try to get a torrent of it somewhere. Amazon.com has it for sale as well.

Tanto is on side "A" of the DVD. Side "B" is our hero PH.

If I had Tanto I might have feed HIM to the lion.

I'm sure most of you have seen this one but it was a good show on versus dangerous game. This was just a short summary to an end.
