A re barrel - quite a few 450's were re barrelled to 465.

For a start it is a back action holland, not a Royal
but Royal's in certain carttridges used bolstered frames
after a certain date.

Firstly, we need the Serial Number.

Most likely it's an original 500/465. The #2, as this is properly called, was made well into the 30's. The 465 engraved on the bottom of the action would support it's being originally a 465. One way to know for sure is get the serial # and call Holland.
