For some reason, the forums on the .416 Taylor petered out about 2 years ago. So, I thought I'd stir up the pot - again.

To those who already enjoy their Taylor:

While jacketed bullet in my Taylors (I only have two of 'em now) work well, I have been having an extremely good time in making and shooting 350-gr. cast bullets. It is almost sinfully easy, the price-per-round is REALLY low, the accuracy is phenomenal and they strike game like lightning!

To those who still waffle on owning a Taylor:

Lots of Luck! You're missing out on one of the most efficient and fun calibers to shoot!

Yes, there are .416 Rigbys, .416 Rugers, Weatherbys, Chey-Techs, etc., etc. You won't find a .416 that is easier to build, cheaper to feed, or more reliable in use than the .416 Taylor!

OK - that's the kickoff. Let's hear the responses....
