That has got to be well over 190. Just look at the girth all the way to the hind quarters. unless she's 5'4" and he's 4'8".

I am mesmerized by such a tremendous cat. I am collecting pics of huge leopards and this one is the largest one. A real whooper!!
Arnaud Mermet, PH of TWS where this cat has been shot is talking no end of giant leopards especially in the Masai territory.
I was listening to him just because I am supposed to be polite but wasn't convinced as long as I couldn't chew hard facts.
Definitely Tanzania seems to be home of wonderful leopards. The sad news are that most of our coveted trophies are more likely to be obtained in Tanzania. And Tanzania is by no means a cheap or sensible destination. This leopard was part of a 3 weeks safari, costing 100 000$ to begin with. Add trophy fees and tips and whatnots..........and it's safari amounting around 150-200 000 $
Tristan Peacock is an undisputable connoisseur of leopards and is constantly kept informed (and investigating) of record leopards. The pain in the back, he is now out of business.
How can we get trophy leopards on a budget????????

By the by, the second trophy's name on the pic is Longoria but not Eva Jacqueline though she can match the icon.

Would have been a different end I'm sure...
My 1977 17th edition of Rowland Ward has the record leopard at 9' 7" between the pegs (that is tip of nose to tip of tail in a straight line).
Anyone know how this one measured out?

I think this girl would make a great hunting partner ! for more reasons than the obvious !
Here she is with a Huge whitetail as well , off her own place no less !





Daryl , I too think he looks bigger than 190 Lbs , must be the photo , when I was helping out in Zim we got a 210 pounder in the top 10 at the time I think , a calf killer , he looked no bigger than this guy , most we got would be lucky to go 140 Lbs

Now that is one huge cat! That would make the hours in the blind feeding the tetse flies worthwhile.
