Congratulations to Rule303 on a successful hunt recently.

Just got back from Boulia after our 2nd trip there. It was very different trip than the last one. There was a bush fire two weeks ago followed by rain so game was spread out. The heat was incredible but next August will be puuuurfect. The kids have used up all my download so it will be about a week till I post a full report. We did get camels but only on the last afternoon. There are no guarantees with free range hunting and that was forced home.

The place still wove it's magic over me and the owner has without solicitation, given me permission to go there whenever I want

The 9.3x62 worked well with express sights and ranges went from 100 to 280 yards between the three rifles. The 7mm Rem Mag not big enough and was a bit of a dissapointment. Cam took an Alpha breeding male with it, but only due to good shooting and a lot of luck.
